Services at Support Works
Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and Medicaid
Support Works partners with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation to help clients move toward meaningful employment and greater independence.
We provide employment services, including job preparation and development, pre-employment transition services, and individualized assessments designed to help participants actually move forward. Our work also includes work adjustment and personal adjustment training, with continued support available through SLS and DD Medicaid waivers, the programs that provide long-term employment support.
Individual Residential Services and Supports
Support Works is a Program Approved Service Agency and now provides Individual Residential Services and Supports for individuals receiving Medicaid waiver support. This is the newest branch of our agency, and one we’re incredibly proud of.
Customized Employment and Self Employment
We are certified in Customized Employment, taking an individualized approach by identifying strengths, interests, and opportunities, then building work around the person. That can mean shaping a role with an employer or creating a position that didn’t exist before.
We also provide self-employment feasibility studies and business planning, helping turn ideas into functioning, sustainable businesses.
